Post 4: Time travel to the future

Imagen
If I had the chance to travel through time, I would definitely go to the past. I have always been interested in ancient times and the cultures that were important then, such as the Ancient Greece and the Roman Empire. I'd love to see with my own eyes the wonders that they created like the pyramids, the statue of Athena, the Lighthouse of Alexandria, which must have been astonishing. It's hard to imagine how the cities were distributed or what people looked like and what was their paradigmn. Besides, I would love to listen to the music they used to play, given that there aren't many examples of what they used to compose and listen to. Anyways, I wouldn't stay in the ancient world because of the precarious lifestyle they had, but I would only be there for a couple of days to see what it was like. On the other hand, If I had the chance to travel in time and stay in that period, I would love to go to the 60s or 70s and try to create music with the greatest musicians from th

Post 3: My dream job

My dream job is to be a Dj working in different events, I imagine beeing behind an audio work station, synthezisers, huge spakers, midi controllers, knobs and many people around. Well, not only working as a Dj, but also writing my own songs, producing and showing them around. For this job I need knowledge about producing, mixing and mastering, also marketing. Besides, for this I need a digital audio work station (DAW), a modern computer, a proficient microphone, and a Midi controller, and all the sound equipment needed to accomplish this goal. I actually don't care about the salary; however, Dj's usually earn around $90.000-100.000$ when they start, but it can rise eventually. I am studying music theory, which is very helpfull regarding the theoretical musical aspects in order to understand how to compose music. This idea of becoming a Dj came to me when I attended a concert called Creamfields. In last year edition there were 72 Dj's. Each one of them had their on el

Post 2: My Best Vacation ever

Imagen
My best vacation ever was when I went to Valle del Elqui with my family and friends. We went there to see an ecplise that happened in 2019. It was a breathtaking experience and a unique one. First we arrived in Vicuña where we spent 2 nights in a camping. There were a lot of people from all over the world singing, dancing and playing instruments. It was very hot, but still you could have a great time. When te eclipse happened I felt an emotion beyond words all over my body, it was quite amazing. In the background you could hear Pink Floyd's "Dark side of the moon", which was totally accurate for the moment. The place and the surroindings where amazing because you could see nature everywhere. So it was the best place for that special happening. In a blink of an eye it was all darkness, and you could feel it.

A Country I would like to visit

Imagen
Since I was a child I have always wanted to visit France. When I was 11 years old I was learning about the French Revolution at school, and I remember that our teacher showed us the movie "Marie Antoinette" and I was amazed and overwheled by the Palace of Versailles and how people used to dress up during those years. Besides, I really love the language and the sound of it. I would love to start a course and learn how to speak it. I constantly listen to French pop songs and try to emulate the pronunciation so that I can practice. I find it very interesting that there are many places where you can study classic or popular music. Also, the country has many different beautiful buildings from previous centuries that are still intact, so visiting some cities can be like a time travel. Regarding its gastronomy, I am a huge fan of coffee and I know that they have great cafés where you can enjoy delicious food with a great view specially in Paris, the city of my dreams.

Post 5: Person that I admire in my field

In music, especifically regarding piano, my heroe has been Claudio Parra. He is the keyboard player and composer of the band "Los Jaivas". I admire his abilities in music and his mastery with the piano. Furthermore, I really admire how humble and easygoing he is. The first time I listened to his music was on the radio and I felt impressed by it. The song was "La Conquistada" and it has been my favorite song since then. Moreover, it has not only been an inspiration to me, but it also was my motivation to start learning music. His contribution to the Chilean music is of great important beacuse they composed one of the most trascendental albums in the history of my country. They brought the, by that time, new genre: the psychodelic rock. Using synthesizer and electric instruments which caused a revolution in the pop Chilean music frame. 2

Post 4: A picture I like

Imagen
This picture was taken by me days after my first day at university. At that time I was at the escalators in the Plaza de Armas metro station. This picture means the beginning of a new era in my life because when I took it I realized that this was going to be my daily trip for the next years. After taking this photo I looked at it closely and I noticed an achitectural beauty which is directly related to symmetry, lights, and modern figures. I think it's important to register these daily life moments because you can find interesting things that we tend to overlook, especially this kind of places that we think we know entirely. In my opinion, line 3 is a great place to be. It's clean and safe. Everytime I walk through the stations I feel impressed by how well built it is. Besides, I believe this is even a space where I can reflect on technology and modernity. I think that we should be more a ware of the places that sourround us everyday. !!

My favorite piece of technology

Imagen
My favorite piece of technology is the Playstation 4 because I have fun with it and I forget about my responsibilies for a couple of hours. In some of the videogames I can work on my creativity (the sims 4). Also, I can work on strategy (Gran thef auto V). I enjoy playing online videogames because I can practice English and I can talk with people from all over the world. I use the console wich has a wireless joystick and that is conected to the TV. Sometimes I forget about time and I realize that I have been playing for to many hours, and this affects my daily routine. I would recommend it, but with caution because some people could become addicted to itons, considering how entertaining it is. I suggest setting an alarm to be aware of time. This has helped to me a lot.
