My first months at the Universidad de Chile


When I was a child I wanted to be a doctor because I was interested in science. Also, I used to play with a friend imagining that we had a clinic and we pretended we were doctors.

Another dream job was to be an astronaut because every night I used to stare at the sky looking at the stars and my only dream was to know what was there in the universe. 



When I was in high school I entered the classical conservatory and that was when my passion for music started. This love for music prevailed because of my high school teachers.



My experience at university has been satisfying so far. However, the infrastructure has slowed down my learning due to the lack of instruments and places to meet. It's sad, but I truly love my major.

A Country I would like to visit

Since I was a child I have always wanted to visit France. When I was 11 years old I was learning about the French Revolution at school, and I remember that our teacher showed us the movie "Marie Antoinette" and I was amazed and overwheled by the Palace of Versailles and how people used to dress up during those years. Besides, I really love the language and the sound of it. I would love to start a course and learn how to speak it. I constantly listen to French pop songs and try to emulate the pronunciation so that I can practice. I find it very interesting that there are many places where you can study classic or popular music. Also, the country has many different beautiful buildings from previous centuries that are still intact, so visiting some cities can be like a time travel. Regarding its gastronomy, I am a huge fan of coffee and I know that they have great cafés where you can enjoy delicious food with a great view specially in Paris, the city of my dreams.

      Hello, this is me: My name is Mateo Sepúlveda Munizaga and I'm 21 years old. I am a student of musical theory at the University of Chile. I lived in Concon, but now I live in Santiago for academic purposes.                            My hands on my piano  I'm a musician and I love playing the piano. Before the university I studied music at the Conservatorio Municipal Izidor Handler in Viña del Mar for two years. I've been playing the piano since I was 12 years old. First, I learned by watching videos on Youtube, but then I decided to study it formally. Post 4: Time travel to the future

If I had the chance to travel through time, I would definitely go to the past. I have always been interested in ancient times and the cultures that were important then, such as the Ancient Greece and the Roman Empire. I'd love to see with my own eyes the wonders that they created like the pyramids, the statue of Athena, the Lighthouse of Alexandria, which must have been astonishing. It's hard to imagine how the cities were distributed or what people looked like and what was their paradigmn. Besides, I would love to listen to the music they used to play, given that there aren't many examples of what they used to compose and listen to. Anyways, I wouldn't stay in the ancient world because of the precarious lifestyle they had, but I would only be there for a couple of days to see what it was like. On the other hand, If I had the chance to travel in time and stay in that period, I would love to go to the 60s or 70s and try to create music with the greatest musicians from th...
